Day 2

We managed to sleep for about 5 hours and at about 7am while every one else in our room were still sound asleep we got up and started to get ready for the day ahead. First stop on our list was the Wong Tai Sin Temple, we had to ask the girl at reception for some tips on how to get there and she was very helpful so we were easily able to find our way. 

These Bonsai trees were awesome, wish mine grew this well!

Stopped for coffee and a light breakfast while Jim tried catching up on the local news. 

Next we bought an octopus pass and figured out the subway station. We went from the temple to Sham Shui Po which has in known for its massive street markets, as seen bellow. 

Then we walked towards Nathan Road which is a main road in Hong Kong with loads of big stores however Jim and I were getting very tired and found the area to be extremely busy. 

While looking for the bus stop that would take us back to our hostel we found a nice park with another temple. 

By this point we were starving, once we got back to the area of our hostel we picked a random restaurant that looked good and seemed to have photos on the menu (the place we chose even had the english name bellow the dish). The food did not disappoint and it certainly hit the spot. 

This was out total route for the day (going counter clockwise). 

After eating we went back to the hostel and told ourselves that we'd take a quick nap then head out to a night market. Although we set a one hour timer, we must have slept through it because we woke up 4 hours later! Eeeekk! So now with a slight change of plans we are just relaxing and accepting that our too ambitious plan was too much to expect from two very jet lagged people.
