Day 2

Anna seems to have summed up our day pretty well so i won't go into too much detail, but here are some photos from my perspective today. (sorry for the delayed post... internet is too slow to both post at the same time)

Bus ride from our hostel to the temple

most of the scaffolding is done with bamboo here

Here's Anna trying to act calm when we don't really know where we're going or if we are even getting on the right bus. We took the 26 from Sham Shui Po towards our hostel but realized we missed our stop (after being so proud that we successfully navigated the bussing system in Hong Kong) and then had to find the nearest station and hop on the right one. When we got on the next bus we panicked and hopped off a couple stops later thinking it was the wrong bus, but once we got off and looked around we realized we were less than a minute from the hostel... beginners luck I guess. The two of us were very happy (and hungry) to be back and walked into the next restaurant we saw.

All in all it was a great day and the weather has been pretty nice aside from the humidity. Hope everyone is happy to see that there are in fact photos of Anna as well. I will hopefully be combining video from today and tomorrow for a short movie to post tomorrow evening (or morning for everyone else).

  2. Getting lost often opens up new adventures. Go for it❣ Anyway, so many people around to get directions from. Love your photos Anna... Now if we can get you together on a shot...ha-ha! Lots of love and big hugs to both of you. Nonno and nonna

  3. I couldn't help laughing when I read your bus experience. We've done the same sort of thing many times. It's stressful and hilariously funny at the same time. :D
