Stanley Market and a Beautiful City Skyline

Today we were able to sleep in a bit and grab breakfast and pack before checking out of our hostel. We had to carry all of our luggage onto the busy subway. We found our new hostel which is on Hong Kong Island, they let us check in early so we dropped off our bags and decided to head over to Stanley market. The market is on the other side of the island-the bus drive was very scenic. We roamed the flea market and got a bite to eat off by the water.

The island is much busier, kinda chaotic in fact. It reminds me a bit of New York city. The streets are lined with tall skyscrapers and neon lights and any store you can think of. Additionally, two blocks away from our hostel is Victoria Park which is much like Central Park. Here are a few photos from our walk around the park, it was beautiful and very quiet compared to the streets just minutes away. 

We found a cute food street for dinner. Although our meal was light, the deep fried rice on skewers that you see bellow were one of the tastiest things I've had during this whole trip. So delicious!

We are at a much more ideal location at this hostel- close to the main streets, Victoria Park and the Harbour. Later this evening we took a walk to try get a view of the skyline. We played around with our camera settings over this bridge to get some cool long exposure shots.
